When I first saw Marc Rothko’s gorgeous meditative paintings that are at the same time energetic and vibrant, I was speechless and tears welled up in my eyes. Honestly, I don't understand how he combines the colours, in a way it always has this inner power... This wrap skirt is a homage to Rothko. Basically, it is a painting wrapped around your hips and closed by press buttons.
Each Rothko skirt is a unique piece, the fabric is invented and partially hand needle-felted by Tereza, our head designer, herself. When you order a Rothko skirt style in a different pattern or colour combination we make it to your measurements. The skirt made-to-order and production time is 2-3 months. If you choose a fabric we have in stock the production time is 3-4 weeks
