STYLING TIPS & NORA

We believe that our clothes can be combined in many ways. To inspire you, we have added a new regular section, where we gather Styling Tips on how to wear TRK in everyday life. The first one to introduce her unique style is the brand's right hand, Nora.

What do you love about TRK clothes?

I like their uniqueness, the fact that I know who designed them and that they have been made in the Czech Republic. From the creative point of view, I like Rosa's story behind each collection. For our Styling tips, I have chosen some of the clothes from Coloring of Species, a collection inspired by Africa's fauna and flora. I have travelled to Africa myself and the clothes remind me of my adventures there; they feel nice… familiar… I have made a connection with the clothes, which then got a whole new meaning.

 

 What role does clothing play in your life?

It is a tool. Tool that helps me to express myself. It also helps me to alter my mood. Especially nowadays, when I mainly work from home. If I take the time to dress nicely in the morning, so that I feel good, it will reflect on my productivity.

Clothing is also a metaphorical chest, in which I keep my memories, as each piece of clothes is connected to a specific event in my life. I have a dress I wore to the opening of our Alaska pictures exhibition, or a scarf Rosa had given me before my trip to Africa, so that I could shoot some pictures there.

What is your opinion on the state of fashion in the Czech Republic and how people think about clothes?

I wish to see more people in the streets who think of clothes as a means of self-expression and use it that way. People who wear quality pieces and dare to be unique. People who, with their choice of clothes, inspire me to personally grow.

  

 1. To work and for a walk: Wave top, Matylda pockets and jeans. I feel super comfortable in this outfit. It is perfect for a working day in the studio, shooting, a city walk, and if I don't want to carry a bag. The combination of patterns and soft colours allow me to feel unique and bold, whilst they do not disturb me in any way.

 2. Coffee with a friend: Perfect for a date, coffee with a friend, a work meeting. I love dresses over trousers. I feel feminine, yet comfy and cool. Blue trousers and Top Blue combination is super nice with white dress.

 3. For a really important business: I really like to layer. A dress over a pair of trousers, a skirt over a dress, or perhaps a shirt over another shirt.
